JSON Toolbox is built around a simple promise: the JSON you paste into our tools never leaves your browser. This Privacy Policy describes what that means in practice, and what limited information we may collect about how the website itself is used.

Every tool on JSON Toolbox — including compare, validate, beautify, format, minify, stringify, escape, JSONPath, schema validation, converters (CSV, Excel, YAML, XML, SQL, Markdown), and code generators — runs entirely in your browser using local JavaScript. We do not upload, transmit, store, or log the contents of the documents you process.

Because processing is local, we cannot access your payloads — including API keys, personal data, or internal configuration — through the tools themselves.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. This helps us improve navigation, performance, and which tools people find useful.

Google Analytics may collect information such as:

• Pages and tools you visit
• Approximate geographic region
• Device type, browser, and operating system
• Referral source and session duration

Google Analytics does not receive the JSON content you paste into the tools. Analytics data is processed by Google under its own terms and privacy practices. You can learn more in Google's Privacy Policy.

Depending on your browser and region, you may be able to limit analytics via browser settings, extensions, or Google's opt-out mechanisms.

Google Analytics may set cookies or use similar technologies to distinguish sessions and measure usage. These technologies are used for analytics only — not to track the content of your JSON.

Beyond Google Analytics for traffic measurement, the site may load fonts or other static assets from content delivery networks. Those providers may receive standard technical request data such as IP address and user agent when assets are fetched.

JSON Toolbox is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
